Recipe Challenge #5 Choc Nibbles & Marshmallow Bar

Alessandra’s #NationalChocolateWeek Challenge #5 packs a great big #FridayFeeling punch. It’s all about Choc Nibbles, Marshmallows (…or Caramel & Nougat) and a bit more chocolate thrown in for good measure! Two absolute belters!

What you need :

Base

  • 500g milk chocolate
  • 200g Choc Nibbles

Fillings

  • 1 pouch chocolate and caramel nougat bites – supermarket own brand
  • OR 10 marshmallows

Topping

  • 200g milk chocolate
  • Knob of butter

How to make :

  • Melt the milk chocolate and mix in the Choc Nibbles
  • Set in a 8×8 inch cake tin
  • When set and cooled, melt either the marshmallows or bougats in a bowl in the microwave and then spread on top of base
  • Chill
  • Melt remaining milk chocolate and spread over filling.
  • Before the chocolate sets patterns and decorations can be applied – such as #ChocNibbles crumbled or #ChocLick
  • When fully cooled cut into bars
