It’s the finale of #NationalChocolateWeek and what a #SweetSunday it is! A perfect pud post Sunday lunch . . Jammie Choc Nibble Mousse!
What you need :
- 75g/2¾oz milk
- 75g/2¾oz whipping cream
- 40g/1½oz egg yolks
- 20g/¾oz caster sugar
- 165g/6oz dark chocolate
- 200g/7oz whipping cream
How to make :
- Heat 75g of milk and 75g cream
- Whisk together egg yolks and sugar until light and pale in colour
- Pour a small amount of the heated milk and cream onto the sugared yolks and whisk, then return back to the pan and heat on a low number until mix has thickened
- Pour onto chocolate
- Leave to cool
- Whisk up egg whites to form soft peaks and fold into chocolate mix
- Put a tablespoon of mix into cupcake mound
- Add 3/4 Jammie Choc Nibbs
- Top with more mousse and set in fridge or freezer
- Makes 6
